Meet
The Bride, Carrie Taylor...
For
those of you who don’t know me, I’ll fill you in on the
details of my life. I’m 21 years old, just four weeks younger
than Brandon. I am graduating December 17, 2005, from Azusa Pacific
University with a degree in Communication Studies, Journalism. My long
term dream is to go into the magazine profession. I’d like to
be an editor or a publisher of a magazine my sister and I are developing,
directed to professional Christian women. Ask me more about this if
you’re curious—I’m pretty excited about it. Anyway,
as of right now, I’m simply looking for a job to support myself
and my husband-to-be while he’s still in school.
As
for my family, I have one sister (my maid-of-honor, Ann) and one brother
(my sister’s husband and groomsman in our wedding, Matt). My parents,
Jim and Celeste, have been on their honeymoon for 31 years now—a
great model for my own marriage. I grew up in Mammoth Lakes, CA, and
the more I am away from the mountains, the more I crave them.
A
few more intricate details of my life: My greatest passion in life is
chocolate—well, that and writing. My life dream has been to go
to Costa Rica—something I’ve been planning for a long time.
Music has been a lifelong release for me, so I play a range of different
instruments and have led worship for several different venues.
